Light as air, a whisper of silk and bedazzled with a mesmerizing mirrorwork; the embroideries speak for themselves. Fragments of living history passed on from mother to daughter and developed as part of a very unique partnership between supernaturae and two desert tribes of Kutch, Gujarat, it’s a true honour to be working with these time-honed traditions. The semi-nomadic communities of the region are known for their visually rich work, an incredible feat - as the life there in the harsh desert landscape is governed by the fact of scarcity.
Available in 3 color ways - black, undyed and rust - each panel is unique. The dress is flowing and open, and fits from EU 34 to 44. The fabric is silk chiffon. The dresses are long to accommodate many sizes, and must be shortened to your length (easy for any tailor.)
Our partnership has been built over a period of years and each piece exists in a unique colourway. Supernaturae’s constant dedication is to rural supply chains, and sustaining opportunities outside of dominant economic areas. An emphasis is placed on natural materials, and producing directly with artisan groups. In this case it’s a women’s co-operative, established by the craftswomen themselves.
Returns from their work go directly to the makers, and any surplus generated after deduction of their running expenses is re-invested in the development of their craft. The dresses are made in a pure silk chiffon, designed to be light and wearable throughout the year, worn simply in summer and layered in winter, timeless heirlooms crafted with beauty.
Natural dyes, derived from plants, create beautiful, organic variations in color that are often unique and irregular. These subtle differences, sometimes resembling stains, are part of their charm and character. Please consider this natural heterogeneity when purchasing our plant-dyed garments.

SHIPPING
Shipping is included with all parcels. We aim to ship within 48 hours of receiving your order, and orders customarily reach within 3-5 days. We ship with SEUR or DHL, either from Mexico or Europe. We are not responsible for any extra customs clearance costs. If you need further clarification, please contact us on info@supernaturae.com.
RETURNS
Return shipping costs and any associated costs are not included and are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your garment. If your dress does not fit or the color is not what you expected, you may request an exchange for another color (subject to availability) or a refund.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your unworn garment in pristine condition within 14 days.
Please note that items returned without first requesting authorization will not be accepted.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds of duties and taxes must be handled directly by the client with the customs authorities or customs agent in their country, as these charges are collected by local authorities and cannot be refunded by Supernaturae.
