this magic drink in time just for christmas!
winter is here and we realise how our bodies are working hard to stay warm during the more chilly days. thanking Zoe from WunderWorkshop as she made us this recipe to make sure your immune system stays intact, it helps to add more warming and immune boosting ingredients to our daily rituals.
· 250ml oat milk (homemade or ready-made – if ready-made make sure it doesn’t contain any nasties such as emulsifiers)
· ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper
· 1 small fresh beetroot
· 3 cm piece of ginger
Juice the beetroot and ginger, and add the juice and cayenne pepper to a mug. In the meantime heat the oat milk, until almost boiling. Add the hot oat milk to the mug and blend the mixture well with one teaspoon of Golden Turmeric Honey.
Immune boosting ingredients: Turmeric, Raw Honey, Coconut Oil, Ginger, Cayenne Pepper
Beetroot juice: Beetroot is a good source of iron and folate (naturally occurring folic acid). It also contains nitrates, betaine, magnesium and other antioxidants(notably betacyanin).
